Food for the Hungry is an organization that goes into new communities of 3rd world countries and reduces poverty by establishing water, food, education, and God into the lives of children and their families in need. There is such a separation from over here and over there that we do not realize the impact we can have on the world.
The children you see currently do not have sponsorship with Food for the Hungry. Every child that you have the opportunity to sponsor, are new children waiting to be sponsored in new developing communities. Unlike other organizations, your funds actually go to the child and their family to directly help them. You also get to directly communicate with your child through letters as much as you like. We do not realize how much a small amount of our money helps these children and families in poor countries. Many of these families can live off of just an average of $30.00 a month or less.
