New York, NY – (August 8, 2011) – Today it was announced that singer/songwriter Mark Schultz will be hitting the road on his “Letters From War” tour. Kicking off on September 21, in Lebanon, Tennessee the tour, sponsored by Food For The Hungry, will feature Schultz, 33 Miles and special guest Finding Favour. Celebrating God & country in support of Mark Schultz’s novella by the same name, the “Letters From War” tour will inspire audiences with a variety of fan favorites. Schultz will also play songs from his debut instrumental album Renaissance.

The book is a heart wrenching story of a mother’s hope of finding her soldier son. Written with the same unique sensibility reflected in the song lyrics of Mark Schulz’s hit song, “Letters from War,” this powerfully emotional and timely story shows a mother awaiting news of her missing son while trying to carry on as usual–even though nothing is now normal except the waiting.

FINDING FAVOUR: This group, Blake Neesmith, Allen Dukes, Dustin Daniels, Aaron Tomberlin and Nathan Tomberlin, found their love for music at an early age and have felt God drawing them to an even greater responsibility and different musicial styles. After teaming up with band’s guitarist, Allen Dukes, Blake and Allen began to write songs that caught alot of attention. They began to team up with friends and musicians they grew up with through the Church of God and formed Finding Favour.

Camp Season

First of all, we are having a blast at all of these wonderful camps! The kids are amazing and we’re seeing the power of God move in their lives. We’re in the season of camps but we are also in a season in our ministry that is teaching us to love more, give more and even break more for the broken people across this country and for rest the world. Jesus give us Your heart and give us Your eyes to see that what we do is not about us but about others and about You! Starting The 33Miles Tour This Month

33Miles will begin their headlining “Today Tour” at the end of this month with special guest Jonny Diaz and newcomers Finding Favour. This is the second leg of the “Today Tour,” the band also went on the road in promotion of their latest recording Today in the fall of 2010.

The tour, which takes the namesake of 33Miles’ most current album Today, will begin in Ohio on March 25 and will wrap at the end of May in Kansas City, MO. “I have been really looking forward to the Spring leg of the ‘Today Tour,’” says 33Miles front man Jason Barton. “We are thrilled to have Johnny Diaz back on the road with us along with the new band Finding Favour. It’s going to be a great night of worship for the entire family!”

In addition to the tour, 33Miles’ latest radio single “Arms That Hold The Universe” is moving up the charts. The song if currently added at over 40 stations nationwide, and can be found on their INO Records’ release titled Today.

Last Show of the Downhere Tour

Tonight was our last show on the “You Are Not Alone” tour with Downhere. I have to say that the Downhere guys are great, even if they are Canadian. Ha totally just kidding. I remember a conversation I was having with Jason (one of the lead singers) one day as we were setting up speakers and he began to tell me how it was a Canadian who invented the “Sub Woofer” speaker. So I said “That’s cool, did you know that it was an American that first landed on the moon?” HAHA. So while the Canadian guys kept picking on our southern accents and how stupid we sounded when we talked saying “yaw” and such, we had to hold our grounds as Americans. Nah, we had a blast!

So the last night of the tour was in Manitowoc, WI. Where is that? Check out the map…

…right next to the big lake! I have to say that we’ve had some great tour dates, but this show was a blast for us and the rest of the crew. We had a chance to meet the mayor of Manitowoc. This is cool because he is the youngest, full-time mayor in the United States at the age of only 22. Yes, he wants to be president. He gets very involved in his town and decided to come to the concert and present us with a key to the city. The key was cool. We took a picture with the mayor, and when we get it, we’ll update this blog.

So the shout out tonight goes to the city of Manitowoc for being such great hosts, and Downhere for bringing us on the tour and being such great new friends. Thanks for everything and love you guys.

On The Way To Winsconsin, right now…

We are currently leaving Nashville, TN right now headed to Winsconsin for the first show of the tour with Downhere, Chris Sligh, and Rush of Fools. We had the opportunity to hang out with the groups and crew earlier during tour rehearsal and have already decided that this tour is going to be a great one with these guys. Follow us on our fall tour and come out to a show nearby!

Getting Ready For The New Album

Hello Everyone. We are approaching the end of the Building 429 Tour. This October we will be starting another tour with the band Downhere. We are very excited about the upcoming tour, and we’ve had alot of fun with all the artists on the Building 429 tour. We love you guys.

So some other good news, we are signing our record deal with INO Records. This record label currently features bands such as Mercy Me, Skillet, The Fray, Todd Agnew, Derek Webb, P.O.D., 33Miles, and many other great artists. We are looking forward to this new career journey in our lives and ministry with INO. So this September, we will be spending most of the month in writing sessions preparing for our new single and album release. Our first single will hopefully be on nationwide Christian radio by the end of the year. Our album will be set to release next summer. This will give us some time to have a few singles out on the radio and tour around the country to meet all you guys. Keep us in prayer as we are in our writing sessions this next upcoming month- that we keep our ears open to hear from the voice of God and that we may be able to deliver what he wants his people to hear.

First Day of Summerfest Building 429 Tour

We are about to arrive in Dodge City, Kansas to play the first show of the Building 429 Summerfest tour tomorrow evening. Other artists will include Britt Nicole, and Mikes Chair. We are looking forward to performing with these other great artists. This tour will be ending in mid-August. Soon after, we will be starting our next tour with Downhere and Chris Sligh. We are excited for the months to come- alot of great things will be happening on the business side of Finding Favour. The most exciting part is to start the process of our new album for you guys. We’ve been getting great feedback from live shows on our new songs and hope to have these songs ready for you guys to get soon! Nashville and Summer Tour

This up coming Tuesday, we will be making our way to Nashville, TN to do showcases for labels. We are praying for wisdom in making these hard decisions that lay before us, but we are excited! We are looking forward to everyday that we have scheduled next week for great possiblies in the career of Finding Favour. We have written 3 new songs that we cannot wait to let you guys hear! This next week we will be writing more. If you haven’t heard our new songs that we recorded a new weeks ago with Ed Cash, be sure you click on the “Music” page and listen to the demos.

Our tour this summer will hit all parts of the U.S., so check our schedule and come to a show when we are near by. We will be at the merch table before and after we play with Building 429 to meet all you guys and sign posters. Soon after this SummerFest tour, we will be starting another tour for the Fall. New Stuff Coming!!!

Hey everyone. We have had a lot of exciting things happen in just the past month. We’ve recorded our EP album with Ed Cash who is such an amazing producer. We are currently awaiting on the songs to be finished up in the post-engineering sessions. We are very excited about a new song that we just wrote a few weeks ago then recorded with Ed Cash just a few days after it was written called “I Am”. Also as you can see, we are getting a new website that will be very social friendly- allowing us to connect with our fans and church communities much easier. Our management is very busy on building a great team to get behind our music and ministry. Recently we partnered with Food for the Hungry to go out and get involved getting children in poverty all over the world sponsorships. All of our hearts are in missions, so we are very excited on the opportunities that God has given us to help the world. So stayed tuned in, we have much more to share.
